Strahan and published with Drift on the one-inch scale in 1895 (Sheet 343) and 1896 (Sheet 342). Sir Archibald Geikie, D.Sc., LL.D., F.R.S., Director General. Creechbarrow and notes on Sheet 342 revised by W.J. Arkell in 1937-8 and new edition published in 1949. W.F.P. Mclintock, D.Sc., Director.
PUBLICATION_STATEMENT: New edition published 1949. Sheet 343 republished with minor amendments in 1954. Sheet 343 combined with part of Sheet 342, reconstituted from the one-inch scale without geological revision, and reprinted on to 1st Series 1:50 000 base in 1976. Print code: 5000/76.
