Bennett and A.C. Cameron (sheet 65) with A.J. Jukes-Browne(sheet 69) and with W.H. Holloway (sheet 70). Revised edition on the 1:50 000 scale compiled by A.Horton and D.T. Aldiss using maps surveyed on the 1:10 560 scale by A. Horton and R.J. Wyatt in 1977-79 (western and southern margin) and R.W. Galiois and F.C. Cox in 1970-71. Remainder of the map compiled using aerial photographs, satellite images and borehole data, held by BGS. R.G. Thurrell, Regional Geologist. Text figures compiled by A. Horton and D.T.Aldiss, with contributions by M.A. Lewis (Hydrogeology), C.P. Royles and J.D. Cornwell (Geophysics).
