AUTHOR_STATEMENT: Original geological survey at 1:10 560 scale by B.N. Peach, W. Gunn, L.W. Hinxman and H.M. Cadell. Published as part of 1:63 360 Sheet 101 (Ullapool), 1892. For the present edition the Torridonian was revised at 1:25 000 scale by A.D. Stewart (University of Reading) and part of the Lewisian around Loch Kirkaig was taken from Evans C.R. and Lambert R.
